The East Hawaii Region Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Hilo, Hawaii, dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents across the East Hawaii region of the Big Island. We work at the intersection of community development, environmental stewardship, and social services.
Our foundation channels resources and expertise to address the unique needs of East Hawaii's diverse communities — from the lush rainforests of Hilo to the rural communities of Puna and Ka'u — ensuring that every resident has access to the support and opportunities they need to thrive.
